Hop on a cruise along Moreton Bay for a chance to see massive whales as they swim in the water. Learn more about these majestic creatures from the eco ranger who will be with you during the cruise. Then, enjoy a light lunch and refreshments (coffee, tea, and soft drinks) served on board the vessel.

Upon arrival, you will be assisted by friendly staff to your accommodation. Please make sure to check the whale watching schedule upon check-in.

Resort Activities
Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Go swimming in crystal clear waters, laze along the shore or explore the island's beautiful scenery. You can also participate in priority feeding of wild dolphins and a desert safari tour. Please make sure to check activity times upon check-in.

When checking out please place your luggage outside your room by 10:00. A team of luggage porters will collect your luggage and bring them to the wharf for collection in Brisbane. You can take a return ferry or enjoy some leisure time on the island.

Spend the rest of the day swimming in crystal clear waters, lazing along the shore, or exploring the islands beautiful scenery.

Activity Detail

Restrictions

  • Participants are allowed to have 1 carry on luggage not exceeding the following dimensions: Depth: 23 cm (9 inches) Height: 34 cm (13 inches) Length: 48 cm (19 inches)
  • Participants staying at the resort are permitted to bring 1 checked-in suitcase or bag with a maximum weight of 20 kilograms and 1 esky with a maximum weight of 20 kilograms.
  • Additional luggage or large items such as surfboards or bicycles are permitted but are subject to an additional cost.
  • The Dolphin Feeding Program operates on strict guidelines, therefore restrictions on feeding apply. This activity is weather dependent. As the dolphin feeding program involves wild animals, dolphin sightings are not guaranteed, however, the resort does experience a 98-99% attendance rate.
  • Participants who have a cold, flu or respiratory illness will not be allowed to feed the dolphins.
  • Touching or patting the dolphins are strictly prohibited.
  • This activity is wheelchair accessible.
  • Flash photography from the beach while dolphin feeding is not allowed but can be done from the jetty.
  • If no whale sightings occur on your tour, you will be credited with a second tour at a future date. If the guest cancels the Whale Watch Cruise, no refund applies. Please note that all cruises are dependent on weather conditions and cancellation may occur at short notice.

  • Please note that standard check-in time at the hotel is 14:00, and check-out time is strictly 10:00.
  • Whale watching cruise is available daily and departs at the resort at 12:00.
